What to expect on the first visit?
The initial assessment is 60 minutes long. There is a lot to be covered. You can expect a thorough history taking to address symptoms, concerns and to discuss your physiotherapy treatment based on your goals. Next, a physical assessment will be done to determine the causes of your concerns. If you feel comfortable, an internal exam will be performed (vaginal and/or rectal).
